Small Group Ministries Begin with Pr. Rob
Sign ups for the following small ministry groups are taking place now for the fall sessions with Pr. Rob. Sessions will be offered both during daytime and evening based upon logistics and preferences of those interested in participating. All sessions will begin in October.
Groups will run for six weeks and meet between 60-90 minutes weekly on chosen days/times. Look for signup sheets to be located at church and online soon. Each group will be limited in size and offered on a first come first serve basis.
The Book of Forgiveness Book Study
This book study is all about learning about the process of forgiveness based upon the work of Bishop Desmund Tutu and his daughter Muphu Tutu. It is perfect for anyone struggling with any aspect of forgiveness, resentment, or healing from the past.
Grief Support
This small group will focus upon the various aspects of grief experienced in life. Grief comes through death for sure, but also through many other aspects of life change. It will be centered on mutual sharing as well as educational resources related to grief, loss, and trauma.
Spiritual Growth Practices
This group will focus heavily upon prayer practices, mediation, and scripture. However, we will also discuss, practice, and share other methods to seek regular and meaningful spiritual growth.
New Members Small Group
These gatherings will serve to share stories related to faith and spirituality as well as a basic orientation to the ELCA and Christ Lutheran Church. This group will only meet twice and is excellent for anyone searching for a sense of how God may be inviting a renewal of love and growth through church membership.
