Safe Worship Protocol

Join us for worship, safely!

What we're doing to stay safe and healthy while still meeting in person.

Mask REQUIREMENT at Christ Lutheran Church: As of the first of January 2022, The Omicron variant is the most contagious variant yet. It is transmitted and received by respiratory functions. We are in a time of rapid increase, with a peak expected to be reached by the end of January. Our area medical facilities are maximized to the point of limited medical care and resources available. Our Reopening Action Team and Council agreed that our worshipping congregation could become a “hot spot” for transmission.

Christ Lutheran Church continues to requires that masks be worn by vaccinated and unvaccinated people over the age of two years old while in the church building. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that these masks be surgical or N95 masks. Indoor mask-wearing is the recommendation of the Kent County Health Department and the CDC as the best way to reduce the spread of the virus. Let's work together to keep all people safe.

Remember, if you have COVID and have been in the building, please notify the church office.

Nursery: The nursery at Christ Lutheran Church is available for families with children under the age of 3 to use during our worship hour on Sunday mornings. All the surfaces and toys have been sanitized. Any toy used during the worship hour will be cleaned and sanitized before the next Sunday’s worship. We do ask that all adults and children aged 2 and above wear a mask while in the nursery to help minimize the spreading of viruses. A maximum of 6 children may be in the nursery at one time. A list of expectations and protocols will be posted in the nursery. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Vicki Blubaugh.

Don't feel comfortable joining us in person?

We understand that not everyone will feel comfortable joining us in person, that's why we continue to offer alternative options like the parking lot service or live stream via Facebook or YouTube.

We broadcast the Sunday service via an FM transmitter so you can listen to the service while in the comfort of your own vehicle. To join us this way, simply come to the church at the given service time and tune in to 93.9 FM. If you are worshiping in the parking lot a worship attendant will collect a prayer request card if you have one and also bring communion to you in your vehicle. Note that the FM transmitter only has a small range and does require you to be on church property in order to pick up the channel.

To join us via live stream you can do so on Facebook or YouTube. To find us simply click on one of the previous links or search "ChristLutheranWyoming" on either. Be sure to like and follow us to get the latest updates. During these services, you are welcome to participate in the service through the chat messages both platforms offer. If you have specific prayer requests you can share them here or at clcwyoming.org/prayer

Our desire is that you will be able to connect to our community of believers in a way that feels safe and inviting. If you have any specific concerns or questions feel free to contact us at office@clcwyoming.org.
