UPDATE NOVEMBER 13, 2020 – In-Person Worship is Suspended
In our nation, in Michigan, and in Kent County, the trends of the COVID virus are alarming and scientific data is showing how significant a crisis this pandemic is right now. In response, the CLC Council met last night and decided to suspend in-person worship. It was a challenging and emotional decision to make, but Council voted unanimously to promote safety in our community. CLC will hold weekly virtual services on our YouTube page. The Good News of Jesus Christ will continue to be spread and the heart of CLC’s mission will remain strong.
UPDATE NOVEMBER 5, 2020 – Following the Emergency Order by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, only 65 people are allowed in the church building at a time. If you wish to worship in the sanctuary, you are invited to come early to attend our 10:00 a.m. service.
Please be understanding that once we have reached 65 attendees, anyone else who comes to enter the building will be asked to listen in their car or watch on their iPad, mobile device or computer. God’s word and presence will be with you wherever you choose to worship. If the Emergency Orders change before Sunday, we will do our best to notify you of the cancellation of indoor worship.
Please stay healthy and stay safe.
Beginning November 1, we will be offering one service that will begin each Sunday at 10:00 a. m. It will be a combined traditional and contemporary worship format.
Below you will find a guide to the protocols put in place to keep our church family as safe as we can provide. Remember if you have health risks or are uncomfortable in a large group gather, please know the church service will be available on Spreaker, YouTube, and the FM transmitter in our parking lot on FM 93.9 if you would like to listen from the parking lot or home.

Initially, there will be no communion offered; we will revisit this as we become accustomed to the new practices with safety in worship.
Stay seated until an Usher indicates it is your turn to leave. They will start from the back of the Sanctuary and move to the front. Please promptly exit the main double doors.
Offering plates will be placed at the Main Entrance exits.
