Pere Marquette Beach Cleanup & Michigan's Adventure
For those entering middle school through those who are a few years into college. I would like to offer up a day as a replacement to the cancelled National Gathering for this year. I know one day isn't the same as a whole week, but I think we can do some fun stuff in just one day! On July 27 (Monday), there is a beach clean-up happening at Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon. It goes from 9-11am and many hands make light work. We can do some service for the community by helping with that, then I thought we'd find a fun way of doing a study or discussion involving our faith, and finally, ending the day with an afternoon at Michigan's Adventure!! I am trying to get in touch with a couple other churches to see if anyone wants to join in our fun, but regardless, we will have a good time.
I will need some chaperones for this event. Anyone over 18 can be considered a chaperone so if we have some college kids that want to join us, that would help fit the bill! If you are interested, please let me know ASAP via email suzanne@clcwyoming.org.
